You CAN break your pain cycle.
Too many of us either know what to do to release our pain and don’t do it, or have no idea how to help ourselves in the first place. This class gives you the opportunity to both learn and practice.
Instructor Allison Suran draws from her 25 years as a Chronic Pain Specialist and introduces you to easy techniques to help you live your life with less pain and more ease.
Each lunch hour class consists of two to three 10-15 minute, scientifically proven pain-reducing practices led by Allison Suran including:
- Meditations
- Relaxation practices
- Gentle Feldenkrais® movement lessons
- Visualizations.
Tuesdays at Lunch, from 12:10pm – 12:50pm
- January 15, 22, and 29; Feb 12, 19 and 26
- Payment is on a donation basis.
Preparation:
Just give yourself permission to relax, let go and learn how to ease your pain. No prior training is required. Bring a blanket or pad, and a pillow so you can comfortably lie on the floor. Sitting options are available.
