THIS CLASS IS TAKING A SUMMER BREAK- SEE YOU AGAIN IN THE AUTUMN~!

Take an hour out of your afternoon to relax into an herbal meditation.  The meditations will be seated with focus on the internal experience of single herb tastings.  The group will start with taking a tea or tincture sample of the particular Chinese or western herb.  Then we will take about 20 minutes with quiet time to feel the herb’s affects in our bodies. Following the meditation there will be a discussion about our experiences with the meditation.

The herbs chosen will be specific to resonate with the seasons, and help support our body’s seasonal changes.  There will be discussion on Chinese medicine philosophy and organ system cosmology regarding the particular season of the moment.  We will also discuss how the herb helps us attune to the season, and at home uses for the herb.

The meditations are free, and open to the public.  It is recommended to attend the meditation not on a full stomach, as it can be more difficult to appreciate the actions of the herbs in your body.
